Every live dance program starts from sun tv’s “manada mayilada” to AXN”s “you think you can dance”, every judge never forgets to say that the chemistry was good. Isn’t that the physiological factor that they are talking about? Why they are calling it as chemistry. Or is it that Androgen/Testosterone that they are talking about. What about botony, zoology then?

By chemistry they mean that the couple matched each other. Or you can say 2 people can perform say mathematically at 6/10 but together you feel that they should be given only 5/10, their chemistry is bad. Their can be synergy where together you would value them at 7/10. With this definition their can be chemistry between people from same sex and one can even talk about chemistry of a group.
But yes, even I get irritated by that word, as it is used when they do not have anything else to say.

I hope every judge in dance competition have great interest in chemistry in their school and college days, that’s why they used this word much (just for fun)
